Through a hub a link local address should work, but it requires passing the interface identifier with the address fe80::555:1212%eth0.

I am not sure whether i can help or not but i wish to try..

if u wish to connect to ourside like other LAN, u need to use site local
address or global address to Internet. 

actually u not need to apply USAGI into fedora as long as ur linux is ipv6
support in order to function as WEB,MAil server. for Web u need Apache
while Sendmail for mail server..

but for more advance ipv6 function like mobility or router then u need to
apply.
